All this happened because of the virus named Corona. Corona virus proved to be the deadliest of all as it affected the lives of people by making them face the worst kind of situation. Many diseases come up from time to time which affected the health of humans but who knew that this deadly virus had the capacity to force people to sit in their homes just because the virus was spreading outside.

The first case that was observed due to Corona virus was in Wuhan, China in December 2019. It is considered that China is the base location from where this virus paved its way. The most common symptoms of this disease are fever, dry cough and tiredness. Patients have also experienced aches and pains, loss of taste and smell, sore throat, conjunctivitis and diarrhoea. It primarily spreads when a corona virus affected person sneezes or there is a transfer of saliva from one person to the other. This virus widened its reach mainly in 2020. It started spreading in different countries and  hence, people named it as a pandemic. The Corona virus outbreak in India was first observed In Kerala on 27th January, 2020. The girl was facing the issue of sore throat and dry cough. Slowly and gradually, the virus started spreading and paved its way to each and every corner of the country. By March 2020, the condition turned so critical that the schools, colleges, universities, offices and many other places were shut. The Honorable Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi announced a lockdown for 21 days wherein people were restricted to move out from their houses. People were strictly warned to move out only to gather the necessary items. While moving out, they were supposed to follow all the guidelines that were given by the government. Wearing the mask and maintaining social distancing was the most important rule that had to be followed. People travelling from one place to the other had to live under quarantine for two weeks. Covid checkups were being carried out in almost all the hospitals. Many schools and colleges were turned into quarantine centres for the covid affected individuals. People were in a state of terror because they had not experienced something of this sort ever before.

With due time, the cases started increasing even more because of the irresponsible acts of some individuals. The government had to increase the period even more. Specific time slots were divided for different shops to be opened. No one was allowed to remain outside after the stipulated time. People working in corporate sectors had to work from home because of the pandemic. Everyone who came from outside tried to maintain all the sanitation processes so that the virus could not enter their homes.

Individuals who worked in hospitals, police personnels, men at the petrol pump, etc whose jobs fulfilled the necessary requirements of the people had to go at their workplace everyday without fail. Doctors have proved to the God on this Earth by taking care of all the patients that were brought to them. They worked day in day out risking their health for the betterment of the society. People were strictly advised to follow all the rules until proper vaccination or medication is provided to them.
